OPTA Glass, based in our fully renovated Waterdown, Ontario, facility, is an advanced technology operation that processes blue box recycled glass and other waste glass streams. Using a state-of-the-art proprietary milling system, we produce fine recycled glass products unlike any others in North America. The largest glass recycling facility of its kind, the Waterdown plant will treat up to 150,000 metric tons of post-consumer recycled glass annually, consuming nearly all the recycled glass in the province of Ontario.
